Deborah Huber Photography
Fine Art Documentary Photographer
About me:
2018 will my ninth year as wedding photographer! Woohoo almost a decade! My work has been published on such sites as, Whimsical Wonderland Weddings, RocknRoll Bride, OffBeat Bride, The Frosted Petticoat, Rouge Bride and Inspired By This. Before becoming a wedding photographer I attended a fine arts magnet high school where I studied painting, drawing and photography. After high-school I acquired a degree in Business. I've also worked as an event photographer and as set photographer for television and indie movies.
My Approach to Weddings
My goal is to capture the look, energy and feel of the wedding celebration in a way that tells a story and brings you back to those moments every time you look at your photos. I always imagine what photos that I would want taken and or shown to my grandkids or family years in the future and those are the photos I take.
Weddings can be such a spectacular place where funny, romantic, silly and amazing moments occur and I am like a quiet ninja capturing these events on digital pixels.
My style is a mix of documentary and editorial photography. Most of my work is purely candid but even for my portraits I like have a natural feel to them. I want my images to have a timeless classic beauty.
If you haven't already, you can browse my featured weddings and engagements to get more of a feel for my style of photography.
Where are you located?
I currently live in central Vermont...however, I photograph all over. There are no travel fees to all of Vermont, parts of New Hampshire, the ADK region of New York, and parts of Massachusetts. I am available for travel nation wide though.. My photography has brought me all over the US and up many winding roads, hills and mountains. I feel very lucky to be able to travel with my art and meet such amazing clients along the way.
If you are interested in commissioning me for your wedding shoot me an email with a little bit about your celebration and location.
